Overview

On this four-mile circular walk we hope to find at least five of the nine species which grow wild on the beautiful rolling chalk grassland of Farthing Downs and Happy Valley. We will almost forget that we are still in London, enjoying some stunning chalkland scenery on the way. Toilets at station and halfway through. Bring a picnic. Should finish by about 14.30. A joint walk with Blackheath Ramblers.
!!! This walk is limited to 20 people who must book in advance with the leader.
Leader: Helen Abbott (helenabbott@aol.com, 07930 367984).
