Join me for this 4 mile stroll starting from the car park of Kettlebrook Local Nature Reserve. Our route will follow the banks of the kettle brook as it flows towards Tamworth, passing 4 small lakes on the way. Although we are never out of range of road noise, you will also hear a lot of birdsong and will be able to see the emergence of early spring flowers. Almost all the paths are well made, tree lined and relatively mud free. Many are joint cycle tracks/footpaths so please be alert to the danger of cyclists. There are no stiles and only a couple of gentle inclines. Post walk refreshment is available at the nearby Queen’s Head.
