We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This pre-Christmas Ramble is mainly on excellent tracks, paths with some walking on quiet road. The last stretch could be very muddy. The walk leaves Wilton and the River Nadder ascending onto the Punch Bowl where hopefully we will have coffee while enjoying the view. We then head down into Croucheston, Bishopstone and the River Ebble. We return to the Nadder Valley via Netton Down and Hare Warren. Far reaching views and some woodland. Only 3 stiles - all at the end of the walk. Map: EX130.
