Starting from the cafe at Broadway Tower, we'll follow the Cotswold Way down the hill into the pretty town of Broadway. After walking along the High Street, which looks lovely at Christmas, our route takes us across open country to Buckland and then on to the beautiful Cotswold village of Snowshill. The final part our our route takes us past the Cotswold Lavender Fields, back through Broadway Wood to the cafe.
Be prepared for muddy conditions: walking boots and appropriate clothing for winter walking are essential and walking poles may be useful for uphill and downhill sections.
Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
We'll meet in the Broadway Tower car park, in front of the Morris and Brown cafe. Parking costs £6 for the day, with parking tickets available from the cafe. The car park can be busy on a Sunday, so it's worth car sharing if you can.
