Witheridge Hill

Park at or near to the Rising Sun Public House, nearest post code RG9 5PG. This is an easy and varied walk through open farmland, much of it left to wild pasture, and ancient and varied Chilterns woodland, with some lovely views on the route. The terrain is easy, though a couple of short bridle path stretches may be muddy after rain and energetic horses. There are several stiles and some manageable gradients. Car parking is available, and car sharing encouraged. The pub welcomes walkers for lunch.
