We are the Vale of Glamorgan Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a varied, enjoyable walk. We will head north from Wick through Clemenstone and on to Castle upon Alun where we will have a coffee break by the river (one of my favourite spots in the Vale ).
Refreshed we will continue via St.Brides down to the coast at Southerndown. We will walk round Trwyn y Wrach and on to Cwm Bach from where we will return to Wick. We will have lunch on the coastal path.
There are many stiles ( some quite difficult) and a longer than usual distance before coffee break hence the early start.
The coastal path is narrow and uneven in places.
