A varied, stile-free, circular walk from Woodcote village passing through some South Oxfordshire countryside and woodland within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and including a stroll along the river Thames to the village of Goring.
Food/refreshments: Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink (lunch stop at Hartslock hill beside a nature reserve, or under Goring & Streatley bridge depending on pace/weather) or . There are a couple of cafés in Goring should anyone wish to get a hot drink and some cake. A pub at the end of the walk is available as well.
Please wear suitable clothes for the weather, it could be muddy in a few places.
Difficulty – moderate. There is a short but steep descent, and a couple of small climbs but it is otherwise fairly gentle.
