This walk is a mix of fields and woods, and it’s pretty flat, so good for those who are not keen on hills! *There are just a few undulations (including a couple of very short hills, not steep).
From the start we’ll head north east and go past Norsted Manor Farm, home to police dogs. The route then takes us past The Washneys and New Years Cottage before we return to the start, where refreshment in The Blacksmiths Arms might be welcome.
The route should generally be pretty good under foot, although recent rain has resulted in mud in fields (none of it deep) and some puddles.
Well-behaved dogs welcome. Must be on a lead among livestock and must keep up with the group's pace.
There are several stiles. One or two are quite challenging, especially with a large dog.
Lift available from Sevenoaks - contact the walk leader at least two days beforehand.
