We are the Grantham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We walk from Woodland Waters CP following footpaths to Sudbrooke village where we cross the railway line.
We ascend Heath Lane to the junction with Pottergate and follow this track across fields and past the “Pigloos”
We will stop for coffee here.
Continuing along Pottergate we cross Fir Tree Lane, then the railway again.
We enter the outskirts of Ancaster and turn right along a track that leads to Moor Closes nature reserve.
We cross the reserve and head back into Woodland Waters having worked up an appetite for our Christmas meal that awaits us at Woody’s Restaurant.
In certain places the tracks are very muddy so gaiters and walking poles are advisable.👍🏻😯
