Walsall Group of Ramblers has been around since 1992 and in that time we've introduced many people to the joys and benefits of walking with the Ramblers
A walk from Worcester Wood Country park through Nunnery Wood engaging the ‘Wild About Worcester Way’ into the City Centre. Arriving at Diglis Bridge we cross the Severn and venture up Bromwich Parade passed the weir with its Twaite Shad and the Swan Sanctuary. Crossing back into the City over Worcester Bridge we take in many of the Historic Buildings of Worcester with lunch in the Cathedral ground. Walking back to the country park via the Severn and Wild About Worcester ways. Joint walk with Sandwell and Wolverhampton groups.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:45am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than registered assistance dogs on Walsall Group walks.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
City centre toilets cost 20p, silver coins only.

Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Car park in Daw End Lane, Rushall, opposite McDonald's.
Worcester Woods country park, Worcester. M5 to junction 6, take first exit at island (A4536 Evesham), at next island but one take third exit (B4636 Worcester), then follow brown signs for Country Park.
