A varied 5 mile circular walk through rolling countryside, largely on tracks, minor roads and footpaths, some of which can be a little slippery.
There are a handful of stiles and several inclines and a walking stick might be of help.
There will be a short break in the middle of the walk, so bring a drink and a snack.
There is also the possibility to visit a pub at the end of the walk.
The Ramblers are taking part in the Countryfile Ramble as part of this year's Children in Need on 7 and 8 October and are opening up group walks on these dates to anyone who wants to ramble and raise money for Children in Need..
Anyone who wishes to attend this walk is welcome to bring along family and friends. We look forward to welcoming you, however we do ask our walkers to ensure that they are fit enough for the walk, and recommend that they wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing suitable for weather conditions on the day. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt. Non-members of the Ramblers Association are welcome to join us on a couple of walks before deciding whether to join the group.
