Overview

BOOKING REQUIRED

Starting from Worsley Old Hall we head east towards a path parallel to M60 motorway into Worsley Woods. Passing under the motorway follow path next to Old Warke Dam, lake. Down into Worsley we cross over to the west bank of the Bridgewater Canal to Monton where we turn back onto the Roe Green Loop Line Trail. Leaving the Loop Line trail to follow route through Worsley Woods to pick up the Tyldesley Loop Line trail. Turning south of the trail we head back to Worsley Old Hall and lunch at approximately 2.00pm.  Risk assessment: Crossing three busy roads. Usual slip and trip hazards in Worsley Woods. No stiles.
