We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk in the area of Stillington north of York which takes us towards White Bridge over the R Foss, along Harryfield Lane towards Skeugh Lane and on to St John's Well (Chalybeate). From there we walk along Roseberry Lane towards Ravendale, and on to Moxby and Moxby Priory then back to Stillington. There will be good views if a clear day. We cross a field towards the R Foss which could be muddy but most of the route is on firm paths. There is some road walking.
