What we do
The main focus of our group is, of course, to organise walks for the enjoyment of members.
However, we also aim to ensure that footpaths in our group territory are kept in good condition by reporting problems to local councils and the North York Moors National Park. We also undertake some path inspections for North York Moors every other year.
We comment and if necessary object to planning applications seeking to modify public rights-of-way.
The activities are coordinated by the Cleveland Group committee and details of their activities are reported in the Cleveland Group Newsletter which is circulated to all local members in February and August.
Members of the group who wish to join the Committee. Should use the email link to get in touch.
The newsletter and full details of the Committee's activities are can be found on their website
