Walking in Mid-Wales

Welcome to the Four Wells group. Join us for walks in the lovely Mid-Wales countryside. Based around Llandrindod Wells, we also walk further afield in the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, Ceredigion, Herefordshire and Shropshire.

Our walks are every other Saturday, and generally range between 7 to 12 miles. The other Saturdays there are walks led by our neighbours, the East Radnor Ramblers

We walk at a moderate pace and the terrain varies enormously - including challenging hills or rough surfaces. Walks start at 10am so make sure you arrive before then – we’d hate to miss you! If you are unsure of your ability to do a walk, have a chat with the leader.

We regret we do not allow dogs on walks.

Our walking community

Our experienced walk leaders offer brilliant walks in our beautiful countryside. Walking gets you to some amazing places you would never have seen any other way. Walking with a group is a very sociable and enjoyable activity. It's hard to think of it as exercise but it is!

We like to think we are a friendly bunch, and welcome new faces whether just passing through, or intending to join us. You can try us out for three walks, after that you will need to join the Ramblers. Why not give us a try?

Campaign with us - protect the places we walk

Walking is a simple pleasure that should be open to everyone, so we campaign to remove barriers to walking and we protect the places we love to wander.
