What we do

What we do, where we walk, who we are!

We walk two or three times a month on a Tuesday, Saturday and a Sunday using the local bus network for walks of up to 6/7 miles and a monthly coach trip for walks further afield of 8-10 miles.

Once a year we have a weekend away and also a Boxing Day walk.

Moray has a plethora of paths and trails including the Speyside Way, the Dava Way, the Moray Coastal Trail and the Moray Way (which combines all three). Paths can be found in mature woodland, along the coast and rivers, scaling hills, around and between our many, many distilleries and along disused railway lines.

The group has been around since the 1980s and some of the original members still volunteer. We are certainly an older group but then most of us have been walking together for a long time. We are, however, a small but growing band of enthusiastic Ramblers of all ages and interests; all are welcome (but, sorry, no dogs).
