What we do
Walking, social events and group holidays
Our walks vary in length and difficulty, to suit degrees of fitness. Short 2-3 mile walks tend to be on Saturdays, with a leisurely pace to enjoy the countryside and historic buildings.
Midweek walks, usually on Wednesday mornings but sometimes on other weekdays, are around 5 miles, often followed with an optional pub or café lunch. Sunday has walks around this length, or longer walks with a sandwich lunch break.
We have some mid-week Summer evening walks, with social time at a local pub afterwards. We also arrange one or two walking holidays each year, and have a full social programme of events.
