We made slight changes to the published route, parking in Scalby Manor car park (with permission), then walking the railway path all the way to Cloughton, rather than coming off to follow field edges. On the return, we left the coast path at the Tabular Hills Walk sign, which brought us back to the road oppositre the car park. A pleasant enough route (it's a pity there aren't more railway relics along the path) and some good coastal views. Station café at Cloughton closed Thursday & Friday and walkers weren't welcome at the Blacksmith's Arms, so take your own refreshments. Geoff Lincs Area
