Walked the full route this time and really enjoyed it. Wide open views, then the enchanting Dimbath Valley. A good climb, then more views. The trees mentioned blocking the path in section 6 of the walk have been cleared, so no problems around the whole route at this time.

I walked the shorter 7.5 mile version of this walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. The directions were so good that my O.S. map stayed in the bag. Some great views, and skylarks on the hilltop. The shorter walk is moderate unlike the longer strenuous walk.
