A mainly leisurely walk although it would have been better if it was not so hot. The terrain is varied and there are some good views. The way the riverside path suddenly transforms is an unusual characteristic. The route is easy to follow on the ground and the suraface was generally easy to walk on, at least after hot dry weather. The exception is immediately after [5] where there is a short steep sectio0n which is something of a scramble. Although there is a cafe and two pubs, both of which do meals in Hurst Green, I saw no other sign of anywhere else for refreshments on the walk.

A fabulous walk, can be very boggy after lots of rain, so poles recommend. Only one hilly climb at the end.
