Route Summary A scenic short walk, crossing the popular Hawkshead Hill, and briefly entering the conifers of Grizedale Forest before returning to Hawkshead. Walk past Anne Tyson's cottage where Wordsworth is reputed to have stayed.

A pleasant easy to follow walk. In a short distance there is varied scenery and some good views.
