Affric is one of the largest and most visited of the pinewoods and a photographer’s paradise. Mostly managed by the Forestry Commission the area has a variety of walks to suit all abilities.
The woods stretch over 25km westwards from Cannich village with the main pinewood on the south shore of Loch Bienn a Mheadhoin. Well marked walks offer short circular loops in the woods or there are long distance trails into the surrounding hills with spectacular views over the lochs and magnificent pinewoods.
