Glen Feshie is renowned as one of the Highlands most attractive areas. The dynamic River Feshie and the expanse of ancient pine forest has provided inspiration for artists including Henry Landseer and Hollywood film directors.
Good access roads and paths follow the River Feshie with a number of marked bridge crossings. Hill tracks lead across open moorland into the upper reaches of the Feshie and through the pine trees to the surrounding mountain tops. The area is undergoing a transformation with large areas of pine regeneration as a result of conservation management to control deer grazing.
