Barnet has lots of ways and opportunities for you to enjoy walking, many of which have been included on this page for you to browse. Walking has many benefits and can help to manage your weight, tone your muscles, improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase energy levels and improve your mood.

And the best part? You don't have to walk for hours to reap the rewards. A brisk 10-minute walk every day can offer significant health benefits and contribute to the recommended 150 minutes of weekly exercise as advised by the Chief Medical Officer.

What's more, choosing to use forms of active travel more often, like walking and wheeling, helps protect our local environment and get us closer to being a NetZero Borough by 2042.

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks Barnet organises short and friendly walks in and around Barnet.  You’ll receive a warm welcome and plenty of support to make it easier to get active and stay active.

Start walking today and experience the difference it can make in your life!
