My name is Ellie 😊 In our family, we’re big believers that most problems can be improved with a good walk, a bit of fresh air, and a laugh with the right people. We love getting outside, exploring new routes, and turning an ordinary day into something that feels lighter and brighter.

 

In our group walks, we tend to wander around Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle and the surrounding areas, picking spots that are scenic, easy to enjoy, and perfect for a good chat. The vibe is simple: come as you are, move at your own pace, and leave feeling better than when you arrived. Some of us fancy a relaxed stroll, others like a brisk pace, and if you’re into hiking, jogging, or running, you’ll find good company for that too.

  • Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone 

  • Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length 

  • At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week 

  • All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport   

  • You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
