wellbeing walkers in a field

Walking is a great way to lead an active, healthy lifestyle in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. Through the delivery of our Wellbeing Walks, we aim to address issues of loneliness, isolation, as well as mental and physical health.

Our scheme has been running for over 10 years and the walks are led by experienced Walk Leaders. There are currently four walks to choose from within the District, which take between 30 minutes to one hour, with people able to choose their own pace, allowing walkers to build up their fitness gradually with the support and encouragement of others.
