Join us every Friday at Harrow Recreation Ground for the Conversation Cafe Wellbeing Walk and Talk. An invigorating morning of activity supported by the Harrow Recreation Ground Users Association focused on wellbeing and engagement.
Starting from 9.30am to 10.30am, begin your day with Tai Chi led by Harrow Tai Chi for Health, a serene practice to harmonize your mind and body. Meet near the Seva Cafe or the basketball court if the grass is wet. All are welcome!
At 10.45am, take a gentle 30-minute walk along the park's accessible paved paths, guided by our cheerful Harrow Health Walks volunteers. You can walk at your own pace and rest on benches along the way, starting at the Seva Cafe.
Between 10.00am and 12.00pm, you can head to the Seva Cafe, our welcoming hub for the Conversation Cafe. Here, you can drop in to engage in face-to-face conversations with council staff and community partners while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee paired with delicious biscuits. Whether you're seeking advice, support, or simply a friendly chat, this event is open to all and absolutely free.
Come to one or come to all, it's entirely up to you. Make it a weekly tradition to connect, relax, and prioritize your wellbeing!
It is best to arrive 10 minutes early as the walks leave promptly. Walk volunteers usually wear a hi-vis vest or backpack so that they are easily identifiable.
If it's your first ever walk with the Harrow Health Walks, you will need to complete a walker registration form. You can sign up and fill in our form ahead of time on www.harrow.gov.uk/walk
