Overview

Please join us for a circular walk along the perimeter path made of wide hard tarmac surfaces. The walk officialy starts at 10.30am and will last between 30-40minutes with oportunity to continue longer informally if desired. The park has lovely open green spaces, playing fields,children's play area, a band stand, a clock tower and paddling pool(currently closed). There are excercise machines and rest benches scattered thoughout the park. There is section of wooded area with established trees and plants. The park also has several enterance/exit gates into surrounding roads. The park is peaceful with flower beds and is busy with other friendly people like dog walkers. You will not be disappointed walking, talking and taking fresh air in this large leafy park.

If driving to the park, then enter through the main gate(next to Park lodge) in Hickman Avenue(WV1 2BS) This leads into a long tree lined avenue with ample free parking inside the park. At the end of the avenue directly opposite is the paddling pool, childrens' play area to right and a green building with toilets to the left.

Meet -Derrick or Nalin(Fridays) close to a bench by the paddling pool area at 10.15am on Mondays, Wednesdays,and Fridays
