Overview

Join us for this new walk, our first of the new Autumn/Winter programme.

This circular walk will take in some beautiful green spaces close to the City Centre, including Bitts Park and along the footpath by the River Eden.  Also find out more about the fascinating history of the Grade II listed Hyssop Holme Well, a hidden historical gem within the City.

This walk will be on pavements and compacted gravel and mud paths.  Please wear appropriate footwear for the conditions.  There is a relatively steep incline from the lower path by the river to Cavendish Terrace, rest stops will be taken as required.
