Did you know that Harrow has one of the most religiously active communities in the country? Would you like to learn more about the different faiths within your Harrow Community?
Interfaith Week celebrates shared values between different faith communities and promotes understanding and tolerance between people of all faiths and none.
Come and join us for a short walk and get to know more about your local area and the diverse faith groups in it. This walk has been organised in partnership with Harrow Interfaith to help people learn more about different faiths and to build understanding and respect among local communities, whilst also enjoying a free, friendly health walk led by a trained walk leader.
We will be walking along Uxbridge Road to visit Kol Chai Synagogue and All Saints Church where we will be welcomed with a short talk at each to tell us more about the Community and its practices.
Make sure to meet us at the Hatch End Telephone Exchange from 10.15am. More details below.
Comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothes are needed to join our friendly and easy-going walk. We will be walking on pavement and easy terrain.
There will be 90 minutes of walking overall.
