A scenic walk along public footpaths, quiet roads and through Mining Heritage land. This is a circular walk with a couple of steady uphill and downhill descents. Three kissing gates. Can be muddy at times so good walking shoes/boots are recommended.
Our friendly Tamar & Bere Wellbeing Walks group, led by experienced and supportive walk leaders, meets every Thursday morning at 10am to visit various locations in the Tamar Valley National Landscape. It’s really a great way to meet new people, explore the area, and improve your health – and, like all Wellbeing Walks, it’s free and there is no need to book! We like to have time for a cuppa afterwards, either in a local café or at the Tamar Valley Centre near Gunnislake – whichever is most convenient.
