We are the Newcastle Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone
Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length
At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week
All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport
You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
Join us on the Healthworks Healthwalk this week, which will begin from Newburn Activity Centre with a meeting time between 9.45 to 10am. This is a relatively easy paced, flat walk with great views along the way. We will start the walk from Newburn Activity Centre carpark and walk along Blayney Row turning after 30 mins and taking the riverside path back to the starting point. The walk offers countryside and riverside views of Tyne Valley Countryside Park and, for those travelling by public transport, is accessible by bus (number 22)
