This is one of three themes Ladies walks for the summer. The first is a grade 3. 2mile, approximately 75 minute walk, "Walk and Warble" - A walk to Natterer's Wood East Side of town to listen to the birds song and see the views over Bury.
The meet point for the walk is The Pillar of Salt opposite the The Abbeygate, Angel Hill, IP33 1LW.
Dogs are not welcome on this walk, assistance dogs only. There is free parking after 6.00pm in Ram Meadow on Cotton Lane. Daily parking charges before 6.00pm apply. There is also the Angel Hill car park which is free after 6.00pm.
There are no planned refreshments, but you are welcome to use the local hotels and pubs to purchase drinks and food after the walk. There are public toilets at Ram Meadow and in Abbeygate Gardens (July and August only).
This walk is accessible via public transport, but due to the varied terrain on the walk, it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
You do not need to book to attend this walk, but if it is your first Wellbeing Walk, your walk leaders will ask you to complete a new walker registration form before the walk starts.
