Overview

Come along and join our free wellbeing walks, rain or shine.....

The Trent Washlands, as the name suggests, lies on the floodplain of the River Trent and has recently undergone a large amount of work to help attract more wildlife to the area. There is plenty of different routes that we can take from the sculpture trail, Cherry Orchards, Centenary Woodland, Stapenhill Gardens, Stapenhill Hollows and many more.  Our walks are a great way to get some fresh air, get some gentle exercise and make new friends.

The walk is led by Volunteer Walk Leaders and after the enjoyable walk the group meet for lunch at the Burton Library (optional).
