Overview

A walk through an outstanding 18th Century Landscape Park following the route devised by the Park's creator, Charles Hamilton. Learn more about some of the history of Painshill Park with volunteer park guide (and wellbeing walk leader) Barry as he leads you around the park past many mysterious 'follies' and alongside the river Mole.
nb. this is not a guided tour but there will be ample opportunity to learn and pick Barry's knowledge as you go around the park. 

There are some steep inclines on this walk in places.

The walk is approx. 2.5 miles but there is an option for a shorter walk of about 1.5 miles if the group decides this is preferable on the day. Parts of the walk may be muddy after heavy/prolonged rain. 

Booking required. Please contact health@elmbridge.gov.uk to book your free place at least 24 hours before the walk.
