Overview

Want to walk and join a community of people around Southwark that also enjoy walking? Come along on Thursdays at Ruskin Park and enjoy the lovely fresh air and meet others who also enjoy walking and taking in the beautiful scenes. 

The group meets at the main park entrance beside Kings College Hospital at 11am and lasts around an hour. The walk lead will be there to greet you and make you feel at ease. These walks are for all abilities and you are able to take them at your own pace. 

Note - there will be no walks from the 20th November until the 2nd December.

In these walks you can expect to become apart of a community and meet others that also enjoy walking. Walking is a great form of exercise and has great benefits both physically and mentally. The walks are weekly and completely free.

You will also have the opportunity to earn rewards with the new Southwark Better Points initiative. This initiative helps to create more healthier choices and is a free app which you can download. Once you have completed a walk, you can scan the QR code and see your points build up which can be used on many shops.
