Join Belle for a prompt 9am start, at Chestnuts park.  This accessible 45 mins circular walk is open to all, and includes a mindfulness element at the end for those who wish to take part.

This park's paths are flat, there are plenty of benches.

Meet outside Chestnuts Community Centre, 280 St Ann's road, N15 5BN. (just inside the park) before the start time. There are toilet facilities and also a local park cafe.

Lordship Rec Walk - N17 6NY - Walking from the gates in Downhills Park Road through Lordship Rec.

Join Storm & Gloria for a lovely walk in the beautiful Lordship Rec on Monday mornings!
The walk is mostly flat with only one hill that can be avoided if preferable. Lovely fields & views of Alexandra Palace.
Refreshments & Toilet facilities in The Hub right next to the lake which attracts all sorts of wildlife.
Storm has been leading since 2006 and finds it a great way to start the week with the walkers who are really positive friendly and welcoming.

Walking from Markfield Park - Various routes along the River Lea. Enjoy the beautiful scenery & peacefulness found by the river including wildlife. Steve says: The walks are enjoyed because they are easy going and in a nice and calm environment away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. Seeing the parks and the river, the boats, the ducks and people out with their children and their pets all make for a relaxing time. All the while having a gentle walk and a chat. Finished off with a tea or coffee in the cafe afterwards.

This group is exclusively for people of color and immigrants. 



An easy 60 minute linear walk (max. 1.5km) along a local Camden canal route, helping care for the space by picking up litter as we go. All on solid, hard-standing paths — no muddy ground, though paved surfaces may be wet after rain. Litter-picking equipment provided in partnership with CleanupUK.

  • Saturday at 10am
  • Meeting at Castlehaven Community Hub
  • Walking between Coal Drops Yard and Hawley Wharf
