Desborough Bowls Club Walk

A weekly walk which will last approximately one hour one hour and a half and will be at a leisurely pace. 

The walks vary each week but will cover approximately 2-3 miles in distance.  The walks are mainly flat so suitable for everyone, with an occasional incline but nothing too challenging!

Following the walk there will be an opportunity to purchase refreshments from inside the Bowls Club and we hope that you will be able to join us for a coffee and a chat afterwards.

Step Up Together Women's Walk

A fun and low-intensity friendly walk in beautiful nature around the Harrow Recreation Ground for women, led by a local community group in partnership with Harrow Health Walks. Benches are available around the park if you need to rest. There is a toilet available in the Café. At the end of the 45 minute walk, there is an informal and fun "laughter for wellbeing" session for about 10-15 minutes. It is easy, low intensity and not compulsory. During the summer months we also practice our balance using the beams, for just a few minutes - not compulsory. Please wear comfortable trainers or walking shoes.

Please arrive for 1.55pm at the Seva Cafe as the walks start promptly.

Mobility Walk – Valentines Park

Mobility Walk - The walk takes place weekly every Thursday at 10am, at Valentines Park, Ilford

Our Mobility Walk and Talk is for people recovering from strokes, cancer, and other mobility impairments such as MS or other general mobility difficulties. The walk is very gentle and slow paced very inclusive with stop breaks if required. Come along with carers, friends or family (children welcome) and join us for a gentle stroll, some fresh air and take in the sites of the beautiful surroundings.
