An easy, 30 minute walk suitable for people recovering from illness or wanting to begin walking for their health and wellbeing, with an extended 60 minute loop for improvers. Get more active in good company with these beginner's and improver's level walks. If the beginners walk is too challenging, we can cut it short to meet your needs on the day. Join us for tea, coffee and chat after the walk.

Stanton Wellbeing Walk, near Bury St Edmunds
This is a beginners and improvers gentle and adaptable walk, inviting connection with others and nature.
It explores the pretty village of Stanton with its windmill and grundle. The walk is graded between 1-3 and is up to 60 minutes long. Meet at Stanton Church Rooms. Well-behaved dogs are permitted on short leads. There is some on street parking or you can park further along the road at the Community Centre. There are toilets and refreshments available at the Church Rooms.

The Wherryman’s Way forms part of the route. Some inclines and stiles. Short stretch of the longer walk at Coldham Hall Carsner may have lying water depending on tides/weather but passable in walking footwear. Free parking at The Ferry House PH. A walk along field paths across Bryant's Heath, returning via footpaths named after 'The Peasants Revolt' of 1381. The Battle of North Walsham was a medieval battle fought on the 25 or 26 June 1381, near the Town of North Walsham, in which a large group of rebellious peasants was confronted by the heavily armed forces of Henry le Despenser, Bishop of Norwich. G1, 0.9 miles which can be extended by 2 miles to form a G2 route. Short and slower pace walk is around the beautiful and historic cathedral quarter. The extended walk uses pavements around Tombland, the Quayside, Mousehold and Ketts Cave areas of Norwich. Return route rejoins the River Wensum and crosses it at Bishop Bridge then along Bishopsgate and into the Cathedral grounds. Pay and display parking. Refreshments at the Glass House or Refectory.

Swannington TV 7 walk via Swannington Hall / Manor and Alderford Common
Join us for a walk from Upgate Common, across meadows and country lanes, passing Swannington Hall, which was once the headquarters of Oliver Cromwell. Further along after passing St Margaret's Church into Swannington Manor Drive, passing round the back a 400 year old Yew hedge can be seen. Then on to the village sign with various lead animals etc. The across to Alderford Common, before returning to Upgate Common. Grade 2 walk 2.5 miles / 4 km Grade 3 walk 3.8 miles 6.2 km.
