An easy, 30 minute walk suitable for people recovering from illness or wanting to begin walking for their health and wellbeing, with an extended 60 minute loop for improvers. Get more active in good company with these beginner's and improver's level walks. If the beginners walk is too challenging, we can cut it short to meet your needs on the day. Join us for tea, coffee and chat after the walk.
Meet near Park View Chapel for a 10.00 start. Parking, toilets and refreshments available at Parkview Chapel. Sorry, no dogs except assistance dogs.

Pleasant walk passing the Orangery & Temple, passing the 'Ha Ha' wall, going beside the Lake through the Beeches. Grade 3 walk give you a view of the 'Mausoleum' Grade 2 listed building. It was commissioned in 1793 by Lady Caroline Suffield, daughter of John Hobart, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire, as a tomb for her father & his 2 wives. Grade 2 walk - 2.4 miles: Grade 3 walk - 3.5 miles. The path round by the Temple is currently closed, not sure when it will reopen.

G1, 0.9 miles slow pace walk around beautiful and historic Cathedral grounds. This can be extended by a 1.4 miles, G1 route using The Ethelbert Gate to exit into St Faiths Lane. Then through the well tended James Stuart Garden to the Riverside Walk. Look out for historic Pull’s Ferry and Bishop Bridge. Return to the Cathedral on Bishopsgate passing the Great Hospital. Refreshments at The Refectory or Glasshouse.

A leisurely town and countryside walk. This group now offers two walks from the same meet point.A shorter grade 1 walk, 30/45 minutes (easier) and a grade 3 (longer), 60 minutes. G2, 2.5 miles walk which can be extended to a G3, 3.6 miles walk on grass and dirt footpaths and some country lanes. Scenic views of The Yare and surrounding countryside. The Wherryman’s Way forms part of the route. Some inclines and stiles. Short stretch of the longer walk at Coldham Hall Carsner may have lying water depending on tides/weather but passable in walking footwear. Free parking at The Ferry House PH. Join us on a interesting walk exploring the Historic market Town of Reepham. Reepham had three churches all on the same site, two are still standing, Reepham and Whitwell, you can still see the ruins of Hackford church, but Hackford does not appear on many maps. Grade 2 walk 2 miles / 3.5 km

This is a beginners and improvers gentle and adaptable walk, inviting connection with others and nature.
It explores the pretty village of Stanton with its windmill and grundle. The walk is graded between 1-3 and is up to 60 minutes long. Meet at Stanton Church Rooms. Well-behaved dogs are permitted on short leads. There is some on street parking or you can park further along the road at the Community Centre. There are toilets and refreshments available at the Church Rooms.

G3, 3.4 miles walk from the village hall along lanes and grass paths downhill to the Riverside road. Look for scenic views to the River Yare and marsh landscape. There will be boat traffic and views of the railway swing bridge before a steep rise towards the railway. The return route takes in more of Reedham village sights and countryside views.
