Walk n Talk with Geoffrey - Anniversary Charity Walk for St Nicholas Hospice Care 2025 - ALL WELCOME
Join others for a leisurely chat and walk with others and Geoffrey around Nowton Park. An opportunity to continue with cake and coffee after. Meet on the grass area near the car park pay machine in Nowton Park. This is a grade 2/3 walk, up to 80 minutes.

Get Moving Walk - Walton
This activity is delivered by Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) as part of the Healthier Independent Longer Lives (HILL) project. It is designed to help people lead healthier, more independent and active lives.
This is a weekly walk meeting at Naze Park road, opposite the children's play park. The walks includes a break where possible for a cuppa and chat. The walks are either along the seafront or on the Naze. The walks start from 9.15am and usually end around11am. All walks are free, fun and suitable for all ages and abilities to come along and make new friends.

A leisurely town and countryside walk. This group now offers two walks from the same meet point.A shorter grade 1 walk, 30/45 minutes (easier) and a grade 3 (longer), 60 minutes. The longer route can cover some uneven ground. Free parking at the Leisure Centre. Join us for a friendly walk. Join us for a chat, and stay for a cuppa after the walk.

This week is the Anniversary Charity Walk raising awareness for St Nicholas Hospice Care 2025. There is the option of two walks. You may be an absolute beginner, in poor health or recovering from poor health but we are here to help you improve your health at your own pace. Whether it's 50 minutes or 50 yards, we will help you along with fresh air and good company. Longer walk goes around Nowton Park taking in all the flora and wildlife.

Walk along Old Norwich Road Walk from Whitton Football Club towards Claydon and back
Join the walk leaders on a gentle 2.5-mile, grade 1 walk taking you up Old Norwich Road towards Claydon and back. The majority of the walk is on flat and paved surfaces so is wheelchair accessible for those with some mobility issues. A lighter walk is great for those starting to get into walking.
The meet point is Whitton Football Club, Old Norwich Road, Ipswich - IP1 6LE.
There is parking available at Whitton Football Club where walkers can get a coffee at the club or from Combat Coffee after the walk. Toilets are also accessible here.
Please note, assistant dogs only on this walk. This walk is accessible via pubic transport.

Haverhill Beginners Walk from Abbeycroft Leisure Centre
A beginners walk, grade 2, 60 minutes along the old railway line. Meet at Abbeycroft Leisure Centre entrance. Well behaved dogs permitted on leads, free parking (please give car registration number to the walk leaders), toilets and refreshments available locally. Walk volunteers can support walkers back to the start should the walk prove too challenging.

Grade 3, 75 minutes walking. This walk is not wheelchair accessible. Dogs permitted on a short lead. N.B There are cows on Millennium Green

An easy, 30 minute walk suitable for people recovering from illness or wanting to begin walking for their health and wellbeing, with an extended 60 minute loop for improvers. Get more active in good company with these beginner's and improver's level walks. If the beginners walk is too challenging, we can cut it short to meet your needs on the day. Join us for tea, coffee and chat after the walk.
Meet near Park View Chapel for a 10.00 start. Parking, toilets and refreshments available at Parkview Chapel. Sorry, no dogs except assistance dogs.

Wisbech Wellbeing Walk - Harecroft
Join this weekly wellbeing walk around the Harecroft area of Wisbech.
The walk is a calm pace giving plenty of opportunity to chat away as you walk. This walk aims to provide a safe space to get out and meet new people, or simply just walk within a group. A chance to get active, enjoy the fresh air and local green spaces.
The walk will last around 50-60 minutes depending on crossings and the group pace.
The walk route goes from the Chapel Road Car Park (back of) through the Harecroft fields, then over Leverington road to walk along the river, finally looping back to Harecroft to return to the Chapel Street Car Park.
This walk is kindly led by the local social prescribers!

An enjoyable 2.5-mile walk taking you up Old Norwich Road and through the fields and footpaths towards Akenham and back down to the football club. The majority of the walk is on footpaths and well-walked fields so isn’t wheelchair accessible but may be OK for those with slight mobility issues with support. There are some small gradients.
There is parking available at the Football Club where there are toilets available as well. Why not grab a coffee at the football club after the walk, or from Combat Coffee.

Join us for a weekly chatty and social walk along March riverside, park and streets of March town all starting and finishing from March Library. This walk aims to provide a space to make new friends, chat and get active whilst doing so. This walk will last around 60 minutes depending on the pace of the group and any crossings. There are rest stops available along the route, and the pace is a variable pace to the group on the day.
Ideal for parents prior to school pick up, and/or those looking to increase their active minutes in a social, friendly way.

A gentle paced, short but social walk ideal for those looking to be more active, social and wish to gain confidence in going out.
A circular walk for all abilities starting and finishing at the Chatteris library. The route goes along Furrowfields Road cutting through to the Furrowfields Park where the views across the Fens can be enjoyed.
A social walk where people can opt to join the 'Cuppa and Chat' session at the Library afterwards (optional).

Join Margaret, Fiona and Pat for a countryside walk along footpaths and lanes from Leiston towards Sizewell.
This is a grade 2, 60 minute gentle walk that meets at outside Leiston Leisure Centre, Red House Lane, IP16 4LS (what3words - icebergs.alarmed.saddens)
Dogs are welcome and must be a short lead at all times. There is free parking available and refreshments and toilets are available in Leiston. This walk is not suitable for wheelchair users and is accessible via public transport.

Weekly Haven Health Wellbeing Walk (Felixstowe)
Weekly Wellbeing Walk with the Haven Health in Felixstowe. This is a grade 2-4, 60-90 minute walk, meeting in the surgery reception at 12.50pm. They leave the surgery walking on tarmac parts, over the footbridge towards the Trimley marshes. The drain is mostly flat with some small undulations. The walks is through woodland and along field edges and bridleways and is mostly firm throughout.
Parking is available in Morrisons on site. Toilets are available in the surgery or at Morrisons, and refreshments are available to purchase in Morrisons before or after the walk.
Dogs are welcome to attend, but must be on a short lead at all times. This walk is accessible via public transport, please check local timetable. Unfortunately due the varying terrain, this walk is not suitable for wheelchair users.
