Steps and Stories is a chance to discover the joy of audiobooks through Newcastle Libraries' Reading for Wellbeing Team's new audiobook walks.
A leisurely hour-long stroll around Leazes Park in the centre of Newcastle. Come and enjoy a visit to a historic urban park established in 1873, all whilst listening to an audiobook of your choice. At the end of the walk, there will be an opportunity to share what you have been listening to and how you found the experience.
The walk will begin and end by The Tower Cafe. Refreshments and food available. There is also toilets available.
The whole walk takes place on tarmacked footpaths and should be suitable for those who use a wheelchair.

Tablets with preloaded stories are available for those who do not have access to a personal device which they can access audiobooks on.
Support is available to support participants to access the Libraries Borrow box app to access the libraries collection of audiobooks.
