Meet on the bench next to the skate park, S36 6TS. Free parking available behind Tesco. The walk is free but booking is required for your first walk. Please email sport&activerecreation@barnsley.gov.uk to book.
Join the walk leaders for a sociable stroll along the Trans Pennine Trail. This is an accessible route for all with its flat and even surface. You can walk at your own pace. Join the group after the walk at one of the local
cafes for refreshments and lunch.

There is a free car park behind Tesco Superstore, then walk down past the stake park to the meeting point (See Photo 2).
Alternatively, catch the 25, 25a or 26 bus that drops you off next to Tesco Superstore and walk down to the meeting point.
