Join our friendly group on Sunday mornings for a walk across the lovely Wildmoor Heath nature reserve and the woodland beyond. Enjoy the springtime flowering gorse and the birdsong, and in August the purple heather.
The walk lasts about 1.5 hours. The ground is uneven, part of it is on a boardwalk which can be slippery and uneven and there are a lot of tree roots, so this walk is not suitable for anyone who is frail or has poor balance. You don't have to be super fit though.
On the odd occasion, depending on the weather, we may decide to walk alternative routes. One will still be in Wildmoor but will avoid parts of the boardwalk which can get slippery after heavy rain. The other alternative will be a circular walk including Swan Lakes.
