As a keen walker myself I enjoy working with Ramblers Scotland to encourage people to go for a walk. Walking is a great activity, it's free, you can go for a walk anywhere, it's sociable and it's good for you.

Office Volunteer | Ramblers Scotland

I volunteer in the Ramblers Scotland office one day a week. Most of my time is spent helping the Medal Routes Project Officer. Medal Routes is a Commonwealth Games legacy project aimed at encouraging less active people to go for a walk. I produce route cards for the bronze, silver and gold routes from a central hub using Ramblers Routes software. I also audit routes to check the route description.
