Paths Maintenance Officer | Tonbridge & Malling Ramblers
The main task of the Paths Maintenance Officer, as the name implies, is to ensure that all footpaths are clear and safe to walk along. Therefore any paths that are blocked by overhanging branches or brambles etc., or are dangerous because of a faulty bridge or stile, should be initially reported to me.
I will then assess the problem, and if it’s of a fairly minor nature, will contact a group of volunteers from within our group so the matter can be dealt with. If it’s more complex then I will report the problem to the Tonbridge and Malling Council for them to action as necessary.
