Current Vacancies

Are you passionate about the outdoors?  The Ramblers help everyone, everywhere enjoy walking and protects the places we all love to walk.  This is an exciting time to be part of the Ramblers. By volunteering on Cornwall Area Council you’ll be helping us to achieve this and, if this is all new to you, along the way you’ll gain experience and skills, which will really benefit you and can be added to your CV.

Assistant Area Rights of Way Officer

Unfortunately we are losing our very successful current Officer due to relocation. This role is specifically to support our hard working Area Rights of Way Officer with planning applications, and to be part of the brilliant Rights of Way team here in Cornwall. You will be involved in protecting the local rights of way network and enhance places where people love to walk.

Area Membership Secretary

Our long standing and enthusiastic membership secretary is retiring so there is a wonderful opportunity to be part of our friendly team here in Cornwall. Your role will involve the warm welcoming of new members, finding ways to encourage others to be part of our happy group and communicate with the group membership secretaries. You will be actively contributing to the charitable aims of the Ramblers and promoting the joy of walking.

If you are interested in either of these roles or would just like to find out more about volunteering with Cornwall Area Ramblers please get in countact with Paul Rabbeth our Area Secretary.
