The Lang Toun Daunderers is the name given to the walk by Kirkcaldy Ramblers Group on the first Tuesday of each month.
The walks mostly start and finish local to Kirkcaldy. This allows public transport to be more readily used to the start and from the end of the walks. To provide variety we plan that some of these walks are 'out of town'.
At the moment we are meeting at the walk starting point which will be detailed within the description for each walk. We then have the option to go for lunch, which provides a social end to the walk
Lunch venues will not be pre-booked. Walkers will only be asked to decide during the walk whether or not they wish to go for lunch.
The walks are 4 – 5 miles long, taking 2 – 3 hours and are completed at a leisurely pace pace to suit everyone on the walk.

See 'Contact details' for the person to contact for details about the walk and how to join it.
These walks are similar to ‘Glenrothes Strollers’ and ‘Dalgety Bay Roamers’, which provide shorter, local walks.
Kirkcaldy has long been nicknamed The Lang Toun in reference to the early town's 0.9-mile (1.4 km) main street, as indicated on maps of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The street later reached a length of nearly 4 miles (6.4 km), connecting the burgh to the neighbouring settlements of Linktown, Pathhead, Sinclairtown and Gallatown.
