West Lancashire Group-our walks

The Group walks programme normally has 3 or 4 walks each month around the year.

Most months we lead mid-week and Sunday walks although sometimes we walk on a Bank Holiday Monday. Walks are mostly in or close to West Lancashire. Those joining our walks are expected to wear appropriate footwear and clothing. In winter, paths are often muddy so boots are highly recommended. Warm and waterproof clothing is essential. Afternoon walks start at 1.00pm and are 5-6 miles in length. We lead longer walks of 7-8 miles starting at 11.00am and some shorter walks of 3 miles led at an easy pace.
