Group name: Gateshead
This group is a part of Northumbria Area.
We would like to organise a coach trip to walk part of the Southern Upland Way in the Scottish Borders.
The date we have chosen is 17th September, the coach leaves from Winlaton Library at 8am, where there is plenty of free parking. The postcode is NE21 6AR.
The walk would start at Traquair and finish at Yair Bridge this is approx 10miles.
The cost of the coach is £15 each and is Non-returnable.
Anyone wishing to join us for a day out at Melrose is most welcome.

If there is doubt about the weather, please contact the walks leader before setting off. Unfortunately, there are no dogs permitted on the group's walks (except registered assistance dogs, please contact the walk leader in advance) and if you take a mobile phone, please use it with consideration for others.
Some members meet informally at a local teashop at the end of walks, please feel free to join us.
