Part-Time Finance Officer, Wales - Paths to Wellbeing

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - Until May 2023
Salary: £11,700 - £14,400 (full-time equivalent £19,500 - £24,000)

The post holder will manage and report on all income and expenditure for the Paths to Wellbeing project. The pan Wales project will facilitate community volunteering to enhance local green spaces, nature and access in partnership with local authorities, environmental NGOs and local communities in line with the strategic plans and business objectives of partners and Ramblers Cymru.

Essential requirements include:

  •   3 years + experience in a finance role
  •   Knowledge of European funding
  •   Excellent communication and influencing skills 
  •   Experience working collaboratively as part of a team 
  •   Qualification in finance management
  •   Excellent IT skills including data entry, excel and Microsoft office packages
  •   Focused and diligent, with excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritise and self- manage according to tight deadlines
  •   Credit control experience
  •   Experience in producing budget reports.
  •   Experience in providing support to staff and senior managers
  •   Knowledge and experience of finance packages
  •   Demonstrable experience in a similar role
